Education & Experience
Attorney Tettemer graduated from The Masters School, Dobbs Ferry, New York. She the attended and graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University, New York. She graduated with Bachelor of Arts, with a Major in Political Science and a Minor in English. Attorney Tettemer graduated from the Sturm College of Law, University of Denver, Denver, Colorado in 1987. Attorney Tettemer was a member of DU Mock Trial Team. She participated in Mock Trial competitions placing first in local and regional competitions and competed at the national level.
She was admitted to New Jersey and New York jurisdictions as a member of each Bar in June of 1988. Attorney Tettemer was admitted to the practice of law in the District of Columbia in 1989. She was employed as an Assistant Prosecutor assigned to the Trial Unit, Appellate Unit, Sex Crimes Unit and Narcotics Unit for approximately twelve years. Attorney Tettemer engaged in private practice and was appointed as a Municipal Prosecutor for several towns in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. She taught Business, Law and Paralegal Studies as an Associate Professor for 15 years locally while engaging in private practice. She is also a Family Law Mediator with 17 years experience qualified to mediate family law matters in New Jersey and New York. Attorney Tettemer has 35 years of legal experience as a former Assistant Prosecutor, Municipal Prosecutor, Associate Professor, Mediator and Private Practitioner.
Stephanie is a current member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Warren County Bar Association and the Hunterdon County Bar Association.
Belvidere appointments will be available at the current location at 130 Mansfield Street through to March 1, 2025 as we transition to the new location.
Attorney Tettemer is excited to continue to practice law in this Vicinage but is expanding services and will also be providing Mediation Services with the opening of Equity Family Mediation LLC January 1, 2025 at 130 Mansfield Street in Belvidere New Jersey . The hourly mediation fee is $250.00 per hour.
This forum will also allow supervised parenting to be scheduled with Kara Martin, a former Probation Officer who retired in good standing from Warren County. Appointments can be scheduled at $50.00 per hour.
Ms. Martin can supervise parenting with proof of an executed consent order and court order. She has completed a Certification Program for Parenting Supervision approved by New Jersey courts and is eager to offer her services to help families foster healthy relationships.
